Our Guiding Philosophy.

In the rural village of Bagher Bazar, Gazipur, systemic poverty and a lack of awareness have long limited the potential of our youth and women. We believe that lasting change does not come from temporary relief, but from equipping individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to build their own futures.

Our mission, vision, and core values serve as the compass for everything we do at You and Me Manab Shampad Unnoyon Shongstha—from the classrooms of You and Me International School to our vocational training labs

  • Free education from Class 1-10 for rural children who would otherwise face child labor or early marriage

  • Bridging the digital divide by offering intensive computer training to youth, opening doors to modern employment

  • Equipping local women with the training and machines they need to start their own businesses and gain financial independence

Our Vision

A self-reliant, enlightened community where every child has the right to learn, and every family has the tools to build a dignified, sustainable future.

We envision a rural Bangladesh completely free from the cycles of child labor and early child marriage. We look toward a future where financial hardship no longer dictates a child’s access to education, and where women are economically independent, respected contributors to their local economy..

Our Mission

To eradicate educational poverty and empower vulnerable groups through accessible schooling, digital literacy, and practical skills training.

  • Providing completely free, high-quality education from Class 1 to 10 for over 350 rural students, removing the financial barriers that keep children out of the classroom

  • Bridging the digital divide by offering hands-on computer training to youth, preparing them for the demands of the modern job market

  • Working cooperatively with parents, local leaders, and the Government of Bangladesh to shift cultural attitudes toward girls’ education and women’s independence

  • Equipping women with intensive sewing and tailoring skills, backed by the machinery and materials needed to launch independent micro-businesses

Global Friendship

Born from the collaboration between Bangladeshi and Japanese founders, we deeply value cross-cultural cooperation. We believe that global solidarity and shared humanity are essential to solving local challenges

Our Core Values

These are the non-negotiable principles that guide our staff, our founders, and our daily operations

  • Transparency & Integrity

As a nationally registered NGO, we operate with complete financial and operational clarity. We view our registration not just as a legal requirement, but as a sacred symbol of trust between our organization, our donors, and the government.

  • Empowerment Over Charity

We focus on sustainable development. Rather than providing temporary handouts, we invest in human capital. We give our community the education and trade skills required to become entirely self-sufficient

  • Resilience in Action

Working in rural development means facing deeply rooted social challenges daily. We remain steadfast and committed to our community, understanding that shifting generational mindsets takes time, patience, and unwavering dedication
